Tales & Stories of Digital Ethics is a storybook about the challenges of an increasingly digitalised world. The publication approaches the social impact of digitalisation from a perspective that uses the neo-Aristotelian ethics of philosopher Martha C. Nussbaum (Capability approach) as a theoretical framework.
In addition, the approach of so-called narrative ethics is applied: Narrative ethics focuses on stories and their significance for ethics. The fairy tales and stories in this book address various topics: Data protection and privacy, disinformation, rumours, lies and truth, trust and friendship, self-confidence, beauty and happiness in digital times and contexts.
The project is developed in cooperation with the Institute for Digital Ethics (HdM Stuttgart).
